Rhia Connley attended Valley High School and graduated early in January 1996. She began classes in college but put it on hold for her pregnancy. Her daughter was born in November 2000. Rhia went back to school in 2004 and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University. During this time she also met her husband Shaun who has two children of his own. Rhia and Shaun have owned several businesses including an advertising company, a chiropractic office and a remodeling company.

In 2014 they became licensed foster parents and have since fostered children of all ages from diverse backgrounds. In 2016, they adopted a sibling group of three and this year they will be adopting a sibling group of six who have been with them for nearly four years. Since adopting the sibling group of three, they were also able to adopt sibling number four for that group as they like to keep all siblings together. In total, they have 13 kids! Great job Rhia, we love seeing alumni doing such great things!
