DC West Schools Foundation had a busy month in March supporting the students and staff of DC West Schools.

Three classroom grants were awarded for classroom supplies — one to the 3rd grade team, one to the 5th grade team and one to the HAL (High Ability Learner) program. Classroom grants are awarded upon approval of teachers’ applications by school leadership and the Foundation.

The Foundation also supported a Junior class trip to Kansas City to experience a traveling Holocaust exhibit and visit the WWI Museum.

Finally, the Foundation provided new supplies to the Before & After School program located at the Twin Rivers YMCA.
