Teachers, administrators and staff may apply for one-time special project funding. Special project funding may include, but not limited to educational program materials, equipment, construction costs, etc. Applications must be reviewed and approved by building principals and superintendent before being considered by the DC West Schools Foundation.

Previous Special Projects

DC West Schools Foundation provides classroom grants to teachers upon approval of application from school leadership and the Foundation.

DC West Schools Foundation purchased a hands-free, bluetooth headset microphone and lavalier microphone as well as receivers to connect them to the existing sound system — totaling about $1,500. The new microphones can be used in the DC West ‘Big Gym’ during PE classes, presentations, sporting events, etc.

The DC West Schools Foundation is proud to have supplied DC West Schools with three Bleeding Control Kits — one for the Elementary, Middle and High School. These kits add an extra layer of emergency preparedness for our students and staff. You can help contribute to special projects like this by making a generous gift now.

DC West Schools Foundation supplied the Teachers and Staff of DC West with donuts and coffee to express appreciation for their hard work and dedication. The Foundation also printed 100 ‘We ♥ Our DC West Teachers & Staff’ yard signs to display around the community.
